I’m with Melissa, I think it’s very sweet. I know several guys who put themselves between me & the street or even just the crowd. They also open doors for me & insist on ladies first.

I was also raised to believe that you never asked a woman if she was pregnant or when she was due unless you were actually in the delivery room with her during birth. Just to be sure.

I think you are a sweet, kind, & funny man. You are perfect just as you are. I cannot wait to meet you.

The rule about stairs is, a man follows a woman up the stairs, but precedes her down the stairs. This rule was established during the time of tight-laced corsets and long hooped, bustled, crinolined, or hobbled skirts, with the idea that the man’s weight and stability would catch the woman should she falter, trip, faint, or fall.
